Q: Is there a lot of maintenance required for decking?
A: No, just a hose down and sweep every few weeks and a coat of oil or preserver every year or two.

Q: What is the lifespan of a deck?
A: Looked after a well built deck should last for up to 15-20 years, all timbers we use are treated and    from sustainable sources.

Q: Is decking expensive?
A: Not in comparison to say a patio, there is generally less groundwork’s to do, so they are less labour   intensive, although hardwood and composite decks are dearer than softwood decking.

Q: I have a uneven and sloping garden, can I install a deck?
A: Yes. a deck is the ideal solution to uneven and slopping areas.

Q: Advantages of composite over timber decking
A: Zero maintenance, nonslip, 25 year warranty (if using Trex decking)

Q; Disadvantages of composite compared to timber decking.
A: None apart from cost as a composite deck will cost over double that of a timber deck but will last a lifetime and therefore is worth the extra cost.
